Tirrena Frescobaldi Fusilli are a semi-whole grain pasta made from durum wheat semolina. This unrefined pasta is rich in fiber, polyphenols, and vitamins, and highly digestible. The ancient grain varieties used are Senatore Cappelli, Khorasan, and Evoldur.

The pasta is bronze-drawn and then slowly dried at temperatures below 38°C for a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 days. This gives it, in addition to its characteristic hazelnut color and wheat-like aroma, high digestibility and an extraordinary ability to absorb sauces.
